I’ve been getting my cars serviced by 24 hrs Tow for at least 3 years and have recommended them to my friends. The best thing about 24 hrs Tow is them stands behind their work. Last week I couldn’t start one of my cars – the battery had died even though it was pretty new. I called 24 again so they will come to check the problem out. They gave my battery a full charge and monitored it to make sure the charge held. While doing that, they put a different battery in my car to make sure there was no problem with the alternator or no unusual drain going on. After doing all of this 24 hrs Tow called me the next day to inform me that everything looked fine – I just needed to drive that car more or at least start it every few days. In other words, the problem had been my fault. The total charge for all the effort they’ve put in? Zero. They told me they didn’t have to fix anything so they wouldn’t charge me anything. I’ve found this to be typical of 24 tow. Bottom line, they’re fair and they’re good.

My car died on Saturday evening. I got Emergency Towing to tow it on Sunday. Hoping to get it running again that day I had him take it to the nearest auto center on the area. Emergency Towing wished me luck but mentioned that the guy we passed right after he picked me up (oh yeah, did I mention that he swung by my house to pick me up?) is the best VW mechanic in the city. So a few hours later after the mechanic guys told me they couldn’t fix my car, I called Emergency Towing back and asked him to tow my car over to his friend’s place. Within half an hour he came back and towed my car over to my mechanic and got the owner (who happened to be there working on his personal race car) to let me in and take down the info on my car right then even though the shop was closed. And then he only charged me $20 for the second tow. Thank you guys,

I always feared getting stuck in the middle of the night 500 meter right after the last exit, it was really dark and scary…I used to call my boyfriend when I’m afraid from something…than I remember that he told me to click “Emergency Towing…” with the address I’m located on Google (in my iphone) and call to the first one that I see…35 minutes after that a very nice driver came and help me…he took me to a nice mechanic 40 minutes from the city, he also wait with me for the mechanic estimate, and the best part was the lift home. After all this he also offered me to take me to my car the day after…for FREE. It was so nice experience with Emergency Towing, I recommend them and I will call them again for sure. Thanks again

Relocation of any vehicle type
"Your car might be at a city or county lot or it may be at a private impound lot that the tow company has a contract with. You can call city hall to ask where your car was taken.
If your car is towed from a parking lot or business, there is usually a sign posted with the name of the tow company and phone number.
You can try to find your car by calling local impound lots or checking their websites if they have one. There is no statewide number or website for this. You have to search in your city or county to find places to call or look up."
"State law says the impound lot has to give you a way to get the things in your car back. This is only the things IN the car, not parts of the car like the spare tire, battery, radios, or DVD players attached to the car. Even if it is a DVD player or accessory that you added you won’t be able to take it."

If there are no warning signs, can my car still be towed? Yes. There is no legal requirement for private property owners to display a warning that cars will be towed if parked illegally, or to provide contact details for the tow operator.
